Rental Info
The
Mickey Safari, is classified as a 'self catering' type of
accommodation. We have included way more guest amenities than most
rentals provide, but you will need to supply your own
consumables. Other than an initial starter supply of toilet
paper and soap bars, items such as food, paper towels, plastic trash
bags, laundry/dish detergent, etc etc. are your responsibility
to purchase at the local supermarket. Like camping, only a whole lot
nicer.
Dates
are reserved on a first come first served basis. In order to lock in and
reserve a date in your name we must have a completely filled out and
signed
rental confirmation form returned to us (emailed to you as a .pdf
attachment) along with an initial payment of $250.00.
Note: We regret that due to past rentals lost as a direct result of
inconsiderate people leaving us hanging and not bothering to get back to
us, we will no longer hold a date based solely on a promise to book
longer than 48 hours after a rental agreement form has been sent to you.
You must return the completed form and the initial payment asap or risk
losing your desired dates!
With
the exception of short notice rentals which must be paid in full at the
time of booking, we
do not ask for the
remainder rental fee until
you are 30 days out from your scheduled arrival date at which time when
paid we will then forward all required access information, directions,
and a lot of helpful condo and local area tips as part of our Welcome
Package.
Security:
A
valid credit card number on file with an authorizing signature to use is
required for security. We also accept a $500.00 refundable cash deposit
as an alternative. This will not be used if all is deemed well on post
departure inspection by our property manager.
Cancellation
Policy as
of 01/01/11
All
cancellations must be made in writing.
We
will give you the option to reschedule
once at no charge
to another available
date if over 30 days out from scheduled arrival date.* Any additional
changes will incur a $100.00 service fee. *
All changes made under 30 days from scheduled arrival date will
incur a $150.00 service fee.
Cancellation
Fee .......$250.00
Within
8 weeks of scheduled arrival date.......Loss of initial deposit or
refund of money paid minus cancellation fee.
Within
4 weeks of scheduled arrival date.......Loss of in itial deposit or 1/2
refund of money paid minus cancellation fee.
Less than 4 weeks from scheduled arrival date.......No Refund.
No
refunds for unused nights if circumstances require you to terminate your
vacation early. For this reason we strongly suggest that you acquire
adequate travel insurance beforehand to cover reimbursement for
these unforeseen expenses just in case. For
AAA members
you can get travel insurance though them.
The
condo is professionally managed by Oasis Vacation Homes if assistance is
needed.
Arrival
time is after 4pm, with departure
no
later than 10am
on the morning following your last night. This is to allow our
housekeepers time to complete their assigned tasks for the next incoming
guest. There may be last minute exceptions to this but only if there are
no prior guest bookings back to back.
We
absolutely do not permit smoking in our condo. If you are a
hard core addicted smoker and believe that our rules only apply to other
people, please don't rent from us. If upon post departure
inspection by our property manager it has been determined that any
lingering foul smelling odors or damage to the condo was caused by
smoking in our home, we will charge the entire cost of
the fumigation, extra cleaning, and repair/replacements of interior
items that have to be made to the responsible party plus the cost of
relocating the following guest to a comparable (and very expensive)
luxury resort hotel suite.
You
must be 21 years of age to sign our rental agreement.
Maximum
of 8 guests including children and infants in
any
Windsor Hills condo per Florida fire codes.
We do not rent to more than 6 in ours!
Sorry,
even though we obviously love the make believe animals at our condo and
the real ones at our northern home in New Jersey, we cannot allow any
pets to stay at our condo per strict and enforced association
regulations. To avoid an unpleasant situation with other guests, the
resort management, or us after we have been notified, you must board
your brought along furry children at one of the many offsite pet resorts
in the area. The same policy that we have towards smoking in our home
also applies to pets brought into the unit against our wishes. Don't do
it!
